The instructions were lackluster. It was a sheet of paper with a couple of pictures on them and the way it showed how to put the chair together were wrong. I had to put the chair together backwards from how the instructions tell you. When I tried putting it on the "correct" way, the metal bars holding up the chair were misaligned like the pictures show. What should've taken, maybe 20 minutes to put together took, maybe an hour after figuring out a way to put it together. To top it off, the bag that held the hardware and Allen wrench was ripped open and had to hope all of the pieces were still there scattered in the box. And the chair itself is ok. If it didn't rock, you'd probably be better off getting a comfy office chair for the price.
