Really love the quality and look of this rug. The color is a perfect neutral, almost cork colored (slightly lighter). The border avoids it looking like an outdoor rug. It has been a month or so now and we still have some corners that are struggling to stay flat, but we only kept weighted items on edges for about a week, so probably just need to place items back on edges to flatten. Smell was a little odd, but nothing unexpected from a rug ordered online that comes rolled in plastic. Also - part of the smell is the rug material, which was expected. Overall, great value. Better to purchase off Amazon for the returns than on their actual website.
